The mission is to become the independent US authority for robot lawn mowers: structured data, transparent scores, and recommendations that explain the tradeoffs.
Editorial stance
Robot mower advice should start with the lawn, not the brand.
MowScout exists because robot lawn mower shopping is unusually easy to get wrong. The wrong mower can still look excellent on a spec sheet while failing under trees, slipping on wet grades, missing narrow passages, or leaving a border strip that defeats the point of automation.
Our current system is spec-verified and data-driven. We collect manufacturer, retailer, and reputable third-party source data, normalize it into one structured mower database, calculate a transparent MowScout Score, and then run yard-fit filters before recommending products.
We earn affiliate revenue when readers click some retailer links, but commission cannot make an unsuitable mower rank. At most, affiliate economics can break a close tie between products that already fit the same yard and score within a narrow band.
